Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in the Wolfeboro Public Library Foundation.  Our mission is to create a fund for donations from area residents and others to help the Town of Wolfeboro with the cost of constructing and equipping an expanded public library and for other purposes that benefit the educational, cultural and community activities of the Wolfeboro Public Library.

The Wolfeboro Public Library provides materials, services, and programs to meet the personal, educational, and informational needs of community residents and visitors of all ages.  The Library occupies a building at 259 S. Main St. of approximately 10,000 square feet constructed in 1979.  Several library engineering and architectural studies have shown that a larger modern building would enable the library to serve community needs much more effectively in the coming years.  In 2008, land adjacent to the present Library was purchased to accommodate an expanded building.

We encourage you to review the other information available here to explain the past, present and future of the Wolfeboro Public Library.  We will from time to time add the results of studies, data tracks of library usage, conceptual plans for the expanded library and fund raising efforts to date.

Please become a partner in our efforts to expand the Wolfeboro Public Library . Your personal efforts, advocacy, talents, creativity and donations will help make the new library a reality.  Contributors become members of the foundation and will receive periodic status reports and long range information.

Please contact us with your thoughts and lend us your support.  You can call me using the Contact Us page and/or make a donation using the Support Us page.
